The product to be redesigned was a standard spice container commonly found in most retail stores. Key issues to address included preventing spices from clumping, improving the dispensing mechanism, and enabling more accurate measurement of desired quantities.
Understanding the Problem
The client provided a focus board outlining key target features for the design. The product needed to incorporate the strengths of existing spice jars, such as durability, corrosion resistance, and toughness, while addressing common issues like spice clumping, awkward storage, and the lack of an easy measurement system.

Through close collaboration with the client and end users, we continuously refined the design to ensure it met both functional needs and expectations. The client emphasized the importance of creating a luxurious, ornamental aesthetic and delivering an engaging, elevated user experience.
