Project Brief: "Design a training TOOL WHICH enableS a cheaper, more accessible method of endoscopy training"
To tackle the challenge of creating a low-cost prototype, we conducted thorough research on the FEES process, generating and testing various concepts. Our goal was to design a flat-pack product for efficient storage, ensuring ease of assembly and operation while providing a cost-effective alternative to existing training methods.
CAD Model

A Fusion 360 model was created for reference during the prototyping stage, allowing us to identify potential design flaws. This process helped us discover an issue with our initial laser-cutting net, which we promptly corrected.

MANUFACTURE

The design prioritizes easy assembly and disassembly, enabling anyone to put it together in minimal time. To ensure manufacturability, we used relatively inexpensive materials and employed simple laser cutting for the prototype.
