Project Brief: "Research the Swatch brand and perform a product disassembly. Combine insights from both to design a new, innovative product that aligns with the brand's identity."

Concept development

Focusing on a specific function while beginning to explore form and user requirements.

This concept centres on the brand and aims to eliminate waste after festival events. The device uses an electric motor to suction waste, which is then melted and injected into a mould to create limited edition sculptures.
Cad modelling
Research revealed that Swatch promotes environmental consciousness by using eco-friendly materials and sponsoring sporting events. This insight led to the idea of creating a product for festivals, where waste often accumulates. The device would recycle waste by injecting it into collectible items, preventing it from ending up in landfills.
